Institute for Latino Studies
Latino Arts and Culture Oral History Project
Oral history interviews are a major component of the Institute for Latino
Studies’ effort to document and preserve the history of Latino
arts and culture. These interviews offer scholars and students "first person" narratives of American culture
and society. Over sixty interviews have been recorded with Latino/a artists,
writers, poets, and leaders from across the nation with a particular
emphasis on the Midwestern United States. Recordings and
transcripts of the interviews are made available to researchers as their
processing is completed. |
