America's Voting Minorities on Vantage Point Radio Show

Location: Philbin Studio Theatre, DeBartolo Performing Arts Center

California and Texas, the two largest states, have minority majorities--non-Hispanic whites make up less than half the population.  By 2042, this demographic shift will take place in the United States as a whole. How will America's voting minorities change electoral politics?

We invite you to join the audience for Vantage Point, (http://vantagepointradio.nd.edu/the Arts & Letters NPR radio program hosted by Agustin Fuentes, when we discuss America's Voting Minorities Wednesday, April 1, at 7:00 pm in the Philbin Theatre at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.

Political Scientists David Campbell, Luis Fraga, and Dianne Pinderhughes will join Agustin to examine how increasing minority voting strength will change American politics.

Vantage Point is a radio show that examines important contemporary issues in a discussion format with Notre Dame faculty experts.  The program is broadcast on Sundays at noon on WVPE HD, the high definition channel of our local NPR affiliate.

We invite you join the conversation.  The final 20 minutes of each program is an open forum where audience members can ask questions on the air and share their own Vantage Point.
