The Institute for Latino Studies and the Department of Africana Studies will host a lunch conversation in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr titled Civil Rights Then and Now: African Americans and Latinos. Vice President and Associate Provost for Undergraduate Studies Hugh Page (Theology) will moderate. Speakers will include Dianne Pinderhughes (chair of Africana Studies & Political Science), Luis R. Fraga (ILS co-director & Political Science), and Timothy Matovina (ILS co-director & Theology).
