The University of Notre Dame’s Department of English and the Institute for Latino Studies seek a specialist in Latina/o literatures and cultures at the rank of Assistant or early Associate Professor. The appointment will be housed in the Department of English with a close affiliation to the Institute as a Faculty Fellow. ILS Welcomes New Staff Member

We are delighted to announce that ILS has hired a Communications Specialist, Evelyn M. González Treto. Evelyn is a recent graduate from Holy Cross College with a background in Communications and Pre-Law. Before coming to Notre Dame, she worked for South Bend immigration attorney Rudy Monterrosa and the South Bend Community School Corporation’s Migrant Education Program. Last summer, she had the opportunity to complete her internship in Washington D.C. at the United States Forest Service as their Internal Communications intern where she developed an involvement in the communications world. Everyone who has worked with Evelyn attests that she is a dynamic and dedicated leader.
