Fellowship - American Association of University Women - Education Foundation Fellowship
The American Association of University Women Educational Foundation has a long and distinguished history of advancing educational and professional opportunities for women in the United States and around the globe. One of the world's largest sources of funding for graduate women, the Educational Foundation provided more than 250 fellowships, grants, and special awards to outstanding women in the 2007-08 academic year. Join a group of women scholars who are introducing domestic violence laws to protect women and children, researching substance abuse among women and therapeutic approaches to the treatment of HIV infection, and developing improved microcredit access for women, among other activities. Fellowship - American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Fellowships for Minority Doctoral Students
For the 2006-2007 academic year, fellowships were awarded to 17 individuals pursuing their Ph.D. All applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements: ~Be a minority student who has applied to or has been accepted into an accounting doctoral program. ~Have earned a Masters degree and/or completed a minimum of three years full-time experience in the practice of accounting. ~Be attending or planning to attend school on a full-time basis and, once admitted, work consistently and forthrightly to attain the doctoral degree. ~Agree not to work full time in a paid position or accept responsibility for teaching more than one course per semester as a teaching assistant or, dedicate more than one quarter of the time as a research assistant. ~For purposes of this program, the AICPA defines minority students as those of Black, Native American, Pacific Island races, or of Hispanic ethnic origin. all applicants must be U.S. citizens. Fellowship - American Mathematical Society - Centennial Fellowships for 2008-2009
The primary selection criterion for the Centennial Fellowship is the excellence of the candidate's research. Preference will be given to candidates who have not had extensive fellowship support in the past. Recipients may not hold the Centennial Fellowship concurrently with another research fellowship such as a Sloan or NSF Postdoctoral fellowship. Under normal circumstances, the fellowship cannot be deferred. A recipient of the fellowship shall have held his or her doctoral degree for at least three years and not more than twelve years at the inception of the award (that is, received between September 1, 1996 and September 1, 2005). Applications will be accepted from those currently holding a tenured, tenure track, post-doctoral, or comparable (at the discretion of the selection committee) position at an institution in North America. Fellowship - Center for California Studies-California State University Executive Fellowship Program
The program is designed to increase knowledge of California government, prepare leaders for public sector,and to promote civic education. Fellows attend weekly university graduate seminars and earn 12 graduate units in Public Policy and Administration.

The APA MFP's objective is to increase the knowledge of issues related to ethnic minority mental health and to improve the quality of mental health treatment delivered to ethnic minority populations. Junior status/4th-year Architecture students (award will be for the following academic year.) Good academic standing with the University. Demonstrated financial need.

Scholarship -
Be citizens of Australia, Germany, New Zealand, the Netherlands, or the United Kingdom (in the U.K., citizens of other countries with permanent residency and five or more years tenure in the U.K. may also apply); Show significant promise as a policy-oriented health services researcher or practitioner (clinician, health services manager, government official, or journalist); Have a demonstrated expertise in health policy issues and a track record of informing health policy through research, policy analysis, health services, or clinical leadership; Have a master's degree or doctorate (or the equivalent thereof) in health care services, health policy research, or a related discipline, such as economics or political science (consideration may be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree only, depending on work experience); and If academically based, be at a mid-career level (e.g., research fellow to senior lecturer).

Fellowship - Commonwealth Fund-Harvard University - Fellowship in Minority Health Policy
The Fellowship has 3 objectives;1-prepare minority physicians for leadership positions in health policy,2-improve capacity of the health care system to address the needs of minorities,3-create a network of minority physician leaders • Physicians who have completed residency, either BE/BC. Additional experience beyond residency, such as chief residency, is preferred. • Experience or interest in addressing and improving the health needs of minority populations. • Strong evidence of leadership experience or potential, especially as related to community efforts or health policy. • Intention to pursue a career in public health practice, policy, or academia. • U.S. citizenship.

Fellowship - Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Public Policy Fellowship
Fellowships available to recent college graduates and currently enrolled graduate students. CHCI offers specific fellowships in public health, telecommunications, and corporate/private sector. Fellowship - Consortium for Graduate Study in Management-Fellowships for Talented Minorities
This is an eleven university alliance which recruits college trained African-American, Hispanic-American, and Native American United States Citizens. Merit based fellowships for students aiming for a master's degree in business. 1)Are African Americans, Hispanic Americans, or Native Americans or U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents of any race or ethnicity. 2)Demonstrate a commitment to The Consortium’s mission of helping to reduce the serious underrepresentation of African Americans, Hispanic Americans and Native Americans in both our member schools’ enrollments and the ranks of management. 3)Hold a four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the U.S. or an equivalent degree from a foreign country. Fellowship - Ford Foundation Fellowships for Minorities
1) All citizens or nationals of the United States regardless of race, national origin, religion, gender, age, disability, or sexual orientation. 2)Individuals with evidence of superior academic achievement 3)Individuals committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level, 4)Individuals enrolled in or planning to enroll in an eligible research-based program leading to a Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree at a U.S. educational institution, and 5)Individuals who have not earned a doctoral degree at any time, in any field. -- Fellowships are awarded to predoctoral, postdoctoral, and dissertation candidates for a total of ~115 awards.

Fellowship - The Fulbright Program
Grants are awarded to American students teachers and scholars to study teach lecture and conduvt research abroad and to foreign nationals to engage in similar activities in the US. -- If you are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a US college or university, you must apply through the Fulbright Program adviser on your campus. Internship - Hud Legal Intern Program
This program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).Approximately 6-12 one year legal interns are available annually.There are multiple categories with different criteria for each. Programs are intended for undergrads, graduates, and recent graduates with an intent to study/work in law.

1.) Scholarship is open to any freshman, sophomore, junior, or seniors.
2.) The scholarship will be awarded to ONLY those applicants that attend a College or University in San Antonio, Texas.
3.) The applicant may pursue a degree in any concentration offered by the San Antonio Colleges/Universities.
4.) There will be no financial requirement set forth.

Fellowship - National Hispana Leadership Institute Fellowship
Program provides four one week leadership development semiarswhich span nine months and four cities.Experience provides training in public policy, leadership, strategic management, and race, class, and gender issues. Admit Latina females. There is a cost.

Fellowship - New York State Senate-Graduate/Post-Graduate Fellowship Programf
The program is designed to provide talented and skilled graduate and post graduate students with intimate knowledge of the New York government.

Fellowship - Pedro Zamora Memorial Fund- Pedro Zamora Aids Public Policy Fellowship
This program provides an opportunity for young adults ages (18-28) to participate in te development of federal HIV/AIDS policy. The program is designed to decelop skills in advocacy, public policy, and grassroots organizing. Qualifications: Graduate and undergraduate students and young professionals are welcome to apply. Candidates need strong research, writing, and organizational skills and a willingness to work in a professional office. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is critical. Familiarity with HIV-related issues and the legislative processes is preferred. Fellows must commit to working a minimum of 30 hours per week for 8 weeks. People of color, women, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals, and HIV positive individuals are encouraged to apply.
