The Institute for Latino Studies is launching a new faculty and graduate student seminar series. This series will provide a venue for ILS colleagues to share their research with one another. While we launch the series with sessions from faculty members, we intend to include graduate student presenters in future seminar sessions.

The second of three sessions this semester will feature Professor Michael Innis-Jiménez (American studies, University of Alabama). He will present from his new book Steel Barrio: The Great Mexican Migration to South Chicago, 1915-1940 (NYU Press).

Lunch will be provided at all sessions.

This event is cosponsored by the Civil Rights Heritage Center at IUSB.
