Letras Latinas, the Institute’s literary initiative, presents an evening of poetry with Dan Vera, author of Speaking Wiri Wiri. Vera’s book was the inaugural winner of the Letras Latinas/Red Hen Poetry Prize, which supports the publication of a second or third book by a Latino/a poet in the United State. Notre Dame professor and poet Orlando Menes served as the judge. There will be book sales, and a signing.
