Gerardo M. Gonzalez, PhD, Dean Emeritus of the IU Bloomington School of Education and Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, discusses his story as an immigrant attaining the American Dream, at a time when the fate of millions of refugees throughout the world, and Hispanics in the United States, has never been more uncertain.
