Members of the Hispanic Alumni of Notre Dame will discuss their personal and career choices since their college years. Many are pioneers and leaders in their career paths and aim to share their experiences & mentor ND students.

JudeAnne Heath '08
Born and raised in Kansas, JudeAnne graduated with a BA in History and a minor in Latino Studies in 2008. Her current work is for HTTP, The National Latino Voice in Tech & Telecommunications Policy. She has previously worked as director for LULAC (League of United Latin American Citizens), a small family-tech startup, as well as communication and project management for litigation consulting firms.
At ND she was a Purple Weasel; Ballet Folklorico Azul y Oro co-president; event assistant with the Institute for Latino Studies; radio DJ; Urban Plunge participant; traveled to Germany for World Youth Day; active with FTT; lectored at the Basilica; and studied abroad in Rome with SMC. JudeAnne has been active in local clubs (D.C. and KC) as well as previously volunteering with HAND. She currently resides in the KC area with her husband and two sons.
Nicolas Guzman '06, '09 Law
Nicolas Guzman is a partner in Faegre Drinker's Customs & International Trace Practice in Chicago. He counsels clients in all aspects of international trade laws and regulations. He has extensive experience in import, trade compliance, and international customs issues, including maquiladora manufacturing operations in Mexico.
In March 2021, he was appointed by Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot to the Illinois Medical District (IMD) Commission, which oversees the largest urban medical district in the U.S. and serves the most diverse patient population in the country.
Guzman is extremely active in the Chicago Latino community and currently serves as president of the Board of Directors at Erie Neighborhood House, a community organization serving immigrant families. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Chicago’s National Museum of Mexican Art and is a Trustee of the Latino Leadership Council.
David Sullivan '96, '05
David Sullivan graduated in 1996 in the Program for Liberal Studies and completed the Alliance for Catholic Education Leadership Program (ACE) in 2005. He has held various positions in education including being a coach, teacher, and school administrator. He served on the Hispanic Alumni Board from 1998-2003, and on the Board of Trustees for Notre Dame from 2002-2005. He is currently a Principal at Palma High School in Salinas, California where he lives with his wife and five children.
Clarissa Anne Woods '09
Clarissa Anne Woods graduated in 2009 with a major in Finance and a minor in International Peace Studies. After graduating she served as an Augustinian volunteer for a year teaching English in a rural community of Northern Peru.
She has since worked at Facebook as a User Analyst, supporting Latin America, and at both Dropbox and Headspace as a Product Manager. Currently, she works for her dream company, Peloton. She works on the Ecommerce team supporting the Web Platform initiatives.
Originally from San Antonio Texas, Clarissa has been in the Bay Area for the past 10 years.
