Letras Latinas, the literary initiative at the University of Notre Dame’s Institute for Latino Studies, winds down its national series on Saturday, December 7—to conclude its 20th anniversary yearlong celebration. The Beyond Baroque Literary / Arts Center in Venice, CA will host the event in its Wanda Coleman Theatre. This grand finale will take place in partnership with Alternative Field, Red Hen Press, and Tia Chucha Press, featuring a gathering of twenty prominent and contemporary voices in Southern California, co-curated by poets Xochitl-Julisa Bermejo and Luivette Resto. The program will commence at 7 PM, and conclude with a joint special announcement by Letras Latinas, Red Hen Press, and Tia Chucha Press.
