Brittany Blagburn

Program Coordinator

Brittany Blagburn is the program coordinator for the Institute for Latino Studies. At ILS, she works with the Cross Cultural Leadership Program, Letras Latinas, and the Latino Studies Scholar Program among other things. Her hometown is Fishers, IN but she currently lives in South Bend.

Brittany has a BA from Saint Mary’s College where she studied English Literature and Humanistic Studies as well as an MA from the University of Notre Dame where she studied English Literature. Her academic areas of interest are eighteenth century epistolary novels and open educational resources (OER). She has been involved in literature and humanities OER projects through LibreTexts. Additionally, Brittany co-authored the article “Reclaiming the Classics for a Diverse and Global World Through OER”, published by KULA: Knowledge Creation, Dissemination, and Preservations Studies, with Dr. Jessalynn Bird and Marirose Osborne, in January 2022.
