Library & Archives

The former Julian Samora Library at the Institute for Latino Studies is now the Julian Samora Latino Studies Scholars Lounge.

In March 2019, the Institute for Latino Studies moved from McKenna Hall to its permanent home in Bond Hall. The books of the Julian Samora Library are now housed at the Hesburgh Library in the Latino Studies Collection at the University of Notre Dame. The archives, featuring over a dozen Midwest Latino artists' papers, are now housed primarily in Michigan State University's Cesar Chavez Library Collection, while the remaining archives are being housed in the Hesburgh Library Rare Books & Collections.
