Sister Norma Pimentel, MJ, has served immigrants and refugees at the US/ Mexico border for more than 40 years. In May of 2018, she received the Laetare Medal, Notre Dame’s highest honor. Pope Francis has referred to her as “my favorite nun.” She is tireless in her work with and for immigrants and refugees.
