Professor Jimmy Gurule
Gurulé is an expert in criminal law and international criminal law and a former state and federal prosecutor. He is the Founder and Director of the Exoneration Justice Clinic (EJC) run through the University of Notre Dame’s Law School. The Clinic represents clients who were innocent and wrongfully convicted of a crime they did not commit. The EJC was recently awarded a $3 million grant by the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs to administer the Program for the Defense of Mexican Nationals in Criminal Matters in the United States.
