Funding
The ILS offers various funding opportunities for graduate students.
The Joseph Gaia Distinguished Fellowships in Latino Studies, offered in partnership by the ILS and The Graduate School, is awarded to promising doctoral students.
It features the following:
- Tuition offering
- Stipend of $29,000 on a 12-month basis for up to five years
- Full coverage of the University's health insurance premium cost
ILS Funding Opportunity:
ILS offers up to $1,500 per term for graduate students engaged in research related to the US Latino experience.
If you would like to formally request support from ILS, please fill out the Google Form linked below, which asks you to submit a one-page proposal and a budget. Requests for funding are accepted year round.
