Funding

The ILS offers various funding opportunities for graduate students.

The Joseph Gaia Distinguished Fellowships in Latino Studies, offered in partnership by the ILS and The Graduate School, is awarded to promising doctoral students. 

It features the following: 

• Tuition offering
• Stipend of $29,000 on a 12-month basis for up to five years
• Full coverage of the University's health insurance premium cost
