Student Opportunities

Cclp 2018

ILS supports various initiatives linked to our mission of advancing Latino Studies at Notre Dame. Our events bring transformative leaders to give lecture on campus. We also honor important cultural practices, such as Día de los Muertos, and strive to provide social awareness and service experiences to our students.

Current student opportunities include:

We also wish to highlight Dream ND Community, an initiative run by the Office of Student Enrichment that works to support undocumented immigrants and DACA students, especially when it comes to ensuring their continuing enrollment and financial assistance. A team of experienced and diligent administrators seek to fulfill the university's commitment to diversity and inclusion by assembling a community of talented individuals regardless of their backgrounds, financial circumstances, or national origins. Additionally, we are proud to partner with the Hispanic Alumni of Notre Dame (HAND) as they honor the legacy of a distinguished Notre Dame Professor with the Julian Samora Scholarship Fund.

We invite you to visit the Julian Samora Scholars Lounge on the third floor of Bond Hall, in room 315. The large study space is open to all students. Coffee and snacks are regularly available throughout the academic year. We are open Monday – Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
